Brief Opioid Overdose Knowledge (BOOK©) Screen

WellScreen™ is the only technology on the market that integrates BOOK, a tool specifically designed to detect a lack of knowledge among individuals who are using opioids.

Opioid abuse is a significant public health challenge facing every state in the country. The opioid crisis claims approximately 115 American lives daily and costs the U.S economy nearly $80 billion per year.

We can't possibly treat our way out of the opioid crisis. We need prevention and early detection to stem the tide. Without these, we will never be free of the opioid crisis.

Researchers from Johns Hopkins University, with funding from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, developed BOOK, a tool specifically designed to detect a lack of knowledge and/or high-risk behaviors among individuals who are using opioids.

BOOK is a useful tool for many professionals.
